Our Distribution experience ranges from new service installations to major re-conductoring projects on energized circuits. Our crews are equipped with all the necessary personal protective equipment, tooling, and equipment to handle our customer’s needs.
Our equipment consists of an Ingersoll-Rand Percussion Hammer with a 20” bit. The hammer is mounted on a National 880C boom which provides a 30 foot digging reach from the center of the truck, and a digging depth of 18 feet.
Everhart & Hoover crews are available 24/7 to assist with service restoration due to storms and disasters. With the majority of our truck fleet being all wheel drive and specialty equipment consisting of track mounted diggers and buckets, we are ready for inclement conditions.
Everhart & Hoover can provide underground services including trenching, directional drilling with percussion rock head equipment, duct bank and manhole installation, cable installations and terminations, and fault locating and repairs.
Everhart & Hoover’s experience has ranged from design/build Substations for commercial customers to “ground up” projects for Co-ops and large utilities
Everhart & Hoover has completed transmission projects from new extensions to complete rebuilds. Voltages have ranged from 46KV to 138KV, and have encompassed designs including single wood poles, 2 and 3 pole wood structures, self-supporting concrete, and steel poles.
